Jakarta Police arrested five suspected ‘meth’ users and dealers

Jakarta Police narcotics directorate says it has arrested five suspected crystal methamphetamine users in three different locations in the city since Sunday.
All suspects were now being detained at the Jakarta Police narcotics directorate’s detention center for further questioning, Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Baharudin Djafar said Wednesday.
One suspect, identified as IK, was arrested at a low-cost apartment in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on Monday, carrying 1.3 grams of “meth” in two small plastic bags.
On Sunday, officers also arrested four other suspected drug dealers in Kemayoran and Penjaringan in North Jakarta.
Two suspects — a woman identified as NS and a man identified as HS — were arrested by officers in Kemayoran. From these suspects, police confiscated two grams of meth.
Separately, police also arrested two women — SN and Mega — who were caught red-handed taking meth in a rented house in Penjaringan. The police confiscated 0.8 grams of meth from SN and Mega.
