AGO gives press briefing on Medan mayor graft case

Investigators at the office of the junior attorney general for special crimes organised a press briefing on a graft case in which Medan Mayor Rahudman Harahap is suspected of involvement, an official says.

“The result is we still need more time to gather more evidence and to question more witnesses,” investigation director Jasman Pandjaitan said Thursday as quoted by tribunnews.com.

The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) detained Medan Mayor Rahudman Harahap on suspicion that he used the 2005 South Tapanuli civil servant allowance budget for his own benefit.
