Alexandra Gottardo still on good terms with ex

JAKARTA: A broken heart hasn’t stopped actress Alexandra Gottardo from remaining good friends with former boyfriend actor Samuel Zylgwyn.

The two recently announced they had broken up after dating for less than a year. Despite their breakup, Alexandra said that she and Samuel were still in touch.

“We are still in contact. We are grown ups, we don’t have a problem with it,” Alexandra said as quoted by inilah.com on Sunday.

The 26-year-old said Samuel had contacted her last week to praise her for her nomination at the 2011 Indonesian Movie Awards. But Alexandra won’t let the cat out of the bag when asked why they broke up.

“I can’t discuss it.  It’s too personal. All I can say is we settled things amicably,” said the winner of the best actress award at the 2011 Bandung Film Festival. Before dating Samuel, the leading star of the award winning movie Tanah Air Beta (My Homeland) was dating Tyo Nugros, the former drummer of pop rock band Dewa. — JP
