3 regions hit by quakes Sunday morning
Three places in Indonesia - the Central Java town of Cilacap, North
Sulawesi’s Melonguena and Lampung - were struck  early Sunday morning
by earthquakes of different magnitudes.
Cilacap was hit by an earthquake measuring magnitude 5.3 at 3:28 a.m
at a depth of 10 kilometers and the epicenter located 121 kilometers
to the southwest of the town, the Meteorology, Climatology and
Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said.
A magnitude 6 quake, 43 kilometers in depth, shook Melonguena at 3:17 a.m.
Lampung was struck by a 6.3 magnitude quake at 12:07 a.m at 10
kilometers in depth and the epicenter 119 kilometers to the southwest
in Krui.
The BMKG said none of the quakes triggered tsunamis.
