Ten Prosperous and Justice Party (PKS) officials have failed to attend their court trial for the second consecutive time, leading plaintiff Yusuf Supendi to assume that they are mentally unprepared to face him.

"They are either unprepared to meet my demands or mentally unprepared to undergo the trial," Supendi said at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday.

He explained that the party elites had every reason to be afraid to face him, as he could bare the party's dark secrets.

"If the trial goes on for a long time, I could reveal everything," he said.

Supendi assured that the party's secrets were kept safely at his disposal.

"I have prepared this information, there's more or less 300 pages of it," he added.

The 10 PKS officials have been put on trial for their dismissal of Supendi, which he believed was executed for unclear reasons and used incorrect legal procedures.

Supendi said the dismissal had cost him dearly, for which he had demanded a compensation of Rp 42.7 billion in material and immaterial losses. (awd)
