Fugitive graft suspect Nunun Nurbaetie may be using her niece’s passport after her passport was canceled by the government, a politician says.
“The niece’s name is Yane Yunarni and she bares a great similarity to Nunun. This could be the trick she is using to continue to travel abroad,” senior Golkar Party politician Fahmi Idris said on Wednesday as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
Nunun, the wife of police general-cum-politician Adang Daradjatun, reportedly fled Indonesia after the Corruption Eradication Commission named her a suspect in the bribery scandal surrounding Miranda S. Goeltom appointment as a Bank Indonesia senior deputy governor in 2006.
