World soccer body FIFA Vice President Prince Ali bin Al Hussein has asked Indonesian Soccer Association (PSSI) Normalization Committee chairman (KN) Agum Gumelar about a ban on the Arifin Panigoro and George Toisutta nomination as PSSI chairman.
Prince Ali and Agum met in Jakarta on Tuesday.
“He [Prince Ali] implicitly asked me why Arifin and George were not allowed to run for PSSI chairman. I laughed at the question and said it was a FIFA decision. He was surprised with my answer,” Agum said as quoted by tribunnews.com
"KN will always obey a FIFA decision. If FIFA changes its decision, KN will follow,” he added.
Agum, however, said he could not predict whether there would be a revision by FIFA about the Arifin-George candidacy.
