National Police chief Gen. Timur Pradopo says the force are unfazed by the threat of cyanide poisoning from terrorists.
"We don't have to feel anxious," he said Tuesday in Jakarta.
At least six terror suspects arrested by the police on Friday testified that they had planned to distribute poisoned food in canteens in and around the police headquarters.
Timor said he acknowledged that the police were facing "such issues".
"Therefore, I urge the society to report to the police on suspicious activities in relation to the aforementioned [poisoning threat] problems," he added.
