SBY to meet former and current Japanese prime ministers

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled on Friday to meet with former Japanese prime minister Yasuo Fukuda in the latter’s current capacity as chair of the Japan-Indonesia Friendship Association (Japinda) in Tokyo, Japan.
Yudhoyono is then scheduled to give a public lecture at the National Graduate Institute for Public Studies (GRIPS), with the theme "Responding to International Challenges, Strengthening Indonesia-Japan Relations".
Around 300 participants, comprising politicians, academicians, businesspeople and members of the public, are expected to attend the lecture, tempointeraktif.com reports.
The President is then scheduled to meet Japan's Crown-Prince Akihito and Crown Princess Michiko, and afterward is expected to meet Japan Foreign Minister Takeaki Matsumoto.
Yudhoyono's meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan is scheduled for this afternoon.
