The House of Representatives foreign affairs commission plans to question Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa over the beheading of Indonesian domestic worker Ruyati binti Satubi in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
“We will ask questions regarding the execution and many other issues,” legislator Mahfudz Siddiq without elaborating on Sunday, as quoted by kompas.com.
Saudi authorities executed Ruyati after the supreme court there issued a ruling that confirmed the death penalty for the Indonesian housemaid, who was found guilty of murdering her employee, Khairiya binti Hamid Mijlid, last year.
