West Jakarta is drug haven: Police

West Jakarta is a safe haven for drugs in
the city, a Jakarta Police official said on Sunday.
The Jakarta Police drug division director Sr. Comr. Nugroho Aji Wijayanto
said there were more than 100 drug cases per month in West
Jakarta.
Central Jakarta and North Jakarta were second
and third place, respectively. “Most [drugs] cases indeed happen in West and Central Jakarta, as there are many entertainment spots,”
Nugroho said.
He added that users and dealers of drugs such as ecstasy or crystal
methamphetamine usually gathered in entertainment clubs.
