Malls sees jump in visitor numbers

JAKARTA: Jakarta malls participating in the Jakarta Great Sale festival are enjoying a lucrative increased in visitors 10 days after the festival kicked off on June 17.
“The number of mall visitors increased by up to 100 percent compared with regular days,” festival chairman Handaka Santosa said Sunday in Jakarta as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
Handaka cited as an example that the number of visitors to Senayan City in South Jakarta increased from an average of 50,000-60,000 visitors per day to up to 120,000 visitors per day since the festival kicked off. — JP
