RI advocates to work with BNP2TKI to assist migrant workers

The
National Agency for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migrant
Workers (BNP2TKI) and the Indonesian Advocate Association (AAI) on
Thursday are set to sign a memorandum of understanding on a partnership
to defend the rights of migrant workers.
“AAI sees there is a need for us to work with BNP2TKI. Migrant
workers have become one of the national problems that needs attention
and support from all elements, ” AAI chairman Humphrey Djemat said
Thursday as quoted by kompas.com.
Humphrey added that his agency would make real contributions to the resolution of problems involving migrant workers.
He said that what AAI was doing was in line with the 2003 Law on Advocacy.
