Graft convict Gayus Halomoan Tambunan told the House of Representatives' law commission that Denny Indrayana told him to flee to Singapore.
"Denny told me to go to Singapore and then promised me that he would drag in everyone involved in this case. He also promised me whistle-blower status in this case," Gayus said on Wednesday. However, Gayus said he later recognized that he was the only “victim” in the case.
Gayus said that he was ready to be cross examined with Denny to prove that he told the truth.
Gayus was summoned by the tax mafia working committee to clarify certain facts the committee had uncovered in their investigation.
