The Indonesian government expressed its condolences and condemned those behind a mass shooting and bombing that killed dozens in Norway on Saturday.

"We are very shocked and dismayed by the incidents in Norway. We condemn the shooting and bombing that have killed civilians. We express deep condolences to the victims, their families, and the Norwegian government,” Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa said Saturday.

“We are confident that Norway will be able to handle the problem,” he added.

On Friday, a Norwegian man dressed in a police uniform gunned down at least 84 people at a youth summer camp of Norway's ruling Labor party. Investigators are still searching the surrounding waters where people fled the attack, which followed an explosion in nearby Oslo that killed seven others. (aaa)
