The working
hours of civil servants in Central Kalimantan would be reduced during the
upcoming Ramadhan fasting month, a senior official said on Tuesday.
“The decision
was taken by Central Kalimantan Governor Agustin Teras Narang,” Central
Kalimantan provincial administration spokesman Kardinal Tanjung said, as quoted
by tribunnews.com.
Ramadhan working hours will start
at 7:30 a.m and finish at 3:00 p.m, replacing the regular working hours of
between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Kardinal expected the new working
hours would not adversly impact the quality of public service.
