The House of Representatives’ Commission III, overseeing law, will summon Bogor Mayor Diani Budiarto and other officials to discuss a disputed Protestant church in the Taman Yasmin housing complex, Bogor.
“We need to seek clarification from the mayor himself. We need to find out what are the problems that have prevented him from obeying the Supreme Court’s ruling that runs in favor of the church,” legislator Benny Kabur Harman of the Democratic Party, who led the meeting, said on Tuesday.
Your comments:
It was high time that the central government did something to uphold the law and to show to the nation that it is an administration that deserves our respect.
Failure to act appropriately will only encourage many mayors, regents, village chiefs, etc. to defy the government’s and the highest court’s rulings.

Amazing! A city administration (Bogor) dares to revoke the Supreme Court’s verdict.
This is contempt of court! Put aside the religious issue; what would it be, if it were a Sharia court’s decision?
