Police arrest six suspected drug peddlers

Jakarta Police narcotics officers have arrested six alleged ecstasy and crystal methamphetamine sellers in two different locations in Jakarta, an official said.
He said, the suspects, identified only as FA, SG, AM, RK, KH and SP, are being held in custody at the Jakarta Police detention center.
“We are now developing the case in the hope that we can see the bigger picture here,” Sr. Comr. Nugroho Aji Wijayanto said Wednesday as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
Nugroho said the police had seized 11,391 ecstasy pills worth Rp 3.14 billion and 295. 47 grams of crystal methamphetamine, locally known as sabu-sabu, worth Rp 443 million.
“We may have saved more than 12,000 people through this arrest,” he said.
