AKARTA: Indonesia and South Korea have agreed to create the Green Business Center (GBC), an eco-friendly establishment that would house small and medium enterprises and cooperatives.
Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Sjarifuddin Hasan said that the center would be located at the SME Tower in Jakarta.
“The GBC will be the main hub for enterprises that use eco-friendly technology,” he said as quoted by Antara.
South Korea’s Administrator of Small and Medium Business Administration, Kim Dong-Sun, echoed Sjarifuddin comments, saying: ”We have green technology while Indonesia has diverse natural resources as its assets.”
Kim said that he expected there would be technology transfer between enterprises at the center.
