The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) seized a computer from the house of fugitive graft suspect Muhammad Nazaruddin in Pejaten, South Jakarta, on Tuesday, in relation to its investigation into a bribery case linked to the construction of the athletes’ village for the 2011 Southeast Asia (SEA) Games in Palembang, South Sumatra. The commission has named Nazaruddin as one of four suspects in the case.

A security chief in Nazaruddin’s housing area, M. Ali, whom the investigators called to oversee the raid at the dwelling, said that a computer was taken away.

“They took a computer from the downstairs [area in the house],” Ali said as quoted by tribunnews.com.

Ali said that no one lived in the house anymore, after maids and security officers left the house two months ago.

He added that KPK investigators also asked for information from neighborhood unit chief Nurdiansyah and community unit chief Jayadi.

Nazaruddin left the country in late May, before a travel ban was imposed on him. Police are still looking for him.
