AKARTA: Legends of the Italy soccer club AC Milan will play a charity match against the Indonesia All Star Legends at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta on Sept. 4 concurrent with the Idul Fitri holiday period.

The legends under the AC Milan Glories squad, which includes Alessandro Costacurta, Franco Baressi, George Weah, Marcos Cafu, Daniele Masaro, Serginho and Nelson Dida, expect to donate part of the ticketing revenue to the Indonesian Islamic foundation, Nadhlatul Ulama.

“We’ve learnt through media reports of the natural disasters in Asia, especially in Japan and Indonesia. Thus, we hope to help with the skills that we have by playing soccer,” Daniele Massaro told a video conference on Wednesday.

The Jakarta charity match promoted by PT Asian Sport Development, is part of the Asia Disaster Relief Tour 2011, which will kick off in Osaka, Japan, on Aug. 31.

Ticket prices range from Rp 50,000 (category 3), Rp 100,000 (category 2), Rp 150,000 (category 1), Rp 750,000 (East VIP) and Rp 1,250,000 (West VIP). They are available on site at Gelora Bung Karno and from online distributors including tiku.co.id, rajakarcis.com, ibudibjo.com, and plasa.com.
