Traffic in Puncak, Bogor, on the first Saturday of the month of Ramadhan is free of congestion, with many restaurants in this holiday area opening later in the evening nearing the time to break the fast.
Kompas.com reported that it took only 35 minutes to travel the 22 kilometers between Gadok, Bogor and Puncak Pass, compared to the usual one to two hours on normal weekends.
The line of vehicles at Cisarua market was also shorter than usual.
Holiday spots, including the Gunung Mas tea plantation, were also quiet.
