Mahfud MD reelected as MK chief justice

Mahfud M. D. has been re-elected as the Constitutional Court (MK) chief justice for the 2011 to 2014 period.
Five judges voted for Mahfud during Thursday’s election, two opted for Harjono, one for Hamdan Zoelva, while one was absent.
The nine MK judges were Achmad Sodiki, Ahmad Fadlil Sumadi, Akil Mochtar, Anwar Usman, Hamdan Zoelva, Harjono, Mahfud MD, Maria Farida Indrati, and Muhammad Alim.
Mahfud will take his oath and be inaugurated next Monday.
