52 Indonesian teenagers detained in Australia

The Indonesian Foreign Ministry said Sunday that 52 Indonesian teenagers under the age of 17 were detained by Australian authorities.
The ministry said 24 of them would face trial.
“The trials are about their ages, not their cases,” ministry spokesman Michael Tenne was quoted as saying by news portal tempointeraktif.com.
The Australian and Indonesian governments agreed to determine their ages using dental x-rays and documents instead of wrist x-rays. “However, the court will have the final decision,” he said.
Michael said the Australian government had repatriated six Indonesian children working on a ship.
