Retail sales to skyrocket by 300 percent ahead of Idul Fitri

Retail sales are forecast to skyrocket by 300 percent ahead of the Idul Fitri holiday, an association said over the weekend.
Indonesian Retailers Association (Aprindo) acting chairman Tutum Rahanta said midnight sales helped the retailers increase sales.
Tutum said the most requested products were Muslim and child attire.
Tutum said, however, that the midnight sales only occurred in big cities such as Jakarta.
