Indonesia attracts Mexican
investment

The Mexican government and business stakeholders expressed interest in investing in Indonesia during a meeting on Sunday with Indonesian ambassador to Mexico, Hamdani Djafar, in Queretaro, Mexico.

“We are interested in taking part in several development projects, especially the development of industrial areas in Indonesia. We also have experience in developing specialized economic areas,” Parque Industrial Queretaro (PIQ) director Abel Baca-General said Tuesday, as quoted by kompas.com.

Another statement from Desarrolo Residencia Touristico (DRT) CEO Victor Mena said that it is for DRT to expand its market and investment to Asian countries, including Indonesia.

During the meeting, Hamdani explained that economic development in Indonesia had demonstrated an increasingly positive trend year-by-year, including in industrial infrastructure development.
