Letter: Media has made Nazaruddin a hero

Most of newspapers and news are so focused on Nazaruddin that the media has made him a national hero.
I would say: Wake up people! He stole up to Rp 6 trillion (US$702 million) of our money.
We do not need to give him such publicity. There was no need to charter a plane to bring him back. He should have been brought back just like an ordinary citizen with his hands cuffed.
The cost of bringing back Nazaruddin ($468,000) would have helped many starving Somalian children.
Now that he is here in Indonesia, that is what is required.
Let him speak, not to the KPK, but to the public, because the media has given him too much publicity. Ask him to provide all the details openly to the media. Give the names of the people involved. No visitors should be allowed until he opens up his bag of secrets. The funds he had embezzled should be restored to the government immediately.
Any family member involved in his cases should be arrested and face KPK and they should be forced to resolve the case.
After Nazaruddin provides the details, all people involved should be punished and they have to return all the money they have stolen. There should be strict punishments for those people involved that will serve as an example for others.
