Letter: Stop treating suspects like bosses!

A- A A+

I beg you, Mr. President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, be an honest man in the way Ramadhan teaches us. Indonesian people are willing to be your supporters as long as you promise to give material and mental peace to Indonesian people, particularly the poor and the needy.

I should explain that our country is indeed rich, and has everything we need, but it is mismanaged by its leaders and many of its leaders only think about the affairs of their party. When we look back at some of the corruption cases in Indonesia, the winners are usually graft suspects because they have so much money and in this country “money talks”, money has power, and money can buy anything.

Stop to treating corruption suspects like bosses, because they have stolen our money and stop to believing their lawyers because they also enjoy ill-gotten money from those people.

We have the right to take back our money they have stolen from us. So we should confiscate all their wealth and make them be poor. The wealth confiscated from the corrupt could be used to build general facility and improve people’s prosperity.

I promise I will not disclose anything that could damage the image of the President, for the sake of the nation.

Do good and justice to your people.
