Foreign Affairs minister Marty Natalegawa stated that Indonesia would fully support the peaceful transition in Libya, saying that it would benefit all parties in the country.
He said a peaceful transition would allow Libyans to use democracy as tool to seek the best possible future for their nation.
“Seeking a peaceful solution has been in line with Indonesia’s aspiration for all these years,” he said Saturday night as quoted by kompas.com.
Libya is now under the control of the National Transition Board, comprising what Moammar Qaddafi called the rebel army.
