Airport bomb threat suspect arrested

JAKARTA: Police on Sunday arrested a suspect that allegedly threatened to detonate a bomb at Soekarno- Hatta Airport Terminal 2D.
The suspect, AJ, sent his bomb threat via Short Message Service (SMS) on Monday, Aug. 29, at around 9 a.m.
Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Baharuddin Djafar said police traced the SMS and found it was sent from Blora, Central Java.
He added that police hunted for the suspect to Blora, then Sleman in Yogyakarta province and finally arrested him in Semarang.
The suspect apparently worked for a shipping company in Taman Palem, West Jakarta, he said.
