Police: Traffic will be back in Jakarta on Wednesday
The relative quiet experienced on Jakarta's roads over the past week is expected to come to an end as traffic returns to the capital on Wednesday, Jakarta Police says.
“We expect traffic jams to reappear on Wednesday, and congestion will be back to normal on Monday,” Jakarta Police traffic division chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Latif Usman said Tuesday as quoted by tribunnews.com.
He added that at present there was relatively little congestion, even during peak hours.
However, Latif said the 3-in-1 rule was already back in place.
“The 3-in-1 lanes have been reactivated,” he said.
