The family of Utha Likumahuwa will bring the late pop singer’s body to Bogor, West Java, for burial on Wednesday.
"He always asked to go to Bogor. That's his will, since his grandmother, older brother, grandchildren and all are staying in the city," Utha's son, Abraham Likumahuwa, said on Tuesday, as quoted by tribunnews.com.
"After the operation, he asked to stay with the extended family [in Bogor]," Abraham said.
Before the burial, the family will hold a service at 10 a.m. at Utha's residence in Ciputat, South Tangerang.
The singer, who became famous with his hit 'Puncak Asmara' (The Peak of Romance) is survived by his wife, Deby, and children Inne Likumahuwa and Abraham.
Utha died on Tuesday at 1:13 at Fatmawati hospital in South Jakarta after undergoing surgery to remove blood clots from his brain.
