Former Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) chief Antasari Azhar has released his account of the murder of Nasruddin Zulkarnain through a book, in his effort to reach out to a wider audience.

Antasari’s lawyer, Maqdir Ismail, confirmed that Antasari was using the book, titled

"Antasari's testimony for law enforcement and justice," to tell his side of the murder case that saw him sentenced to 18 years in prison.

“My client tells the story of his entire career as law enforcer and he also describes the murder case, in particular several oddities found during the case investigation,” Maqdir said Thursday as quoted by tribunnews.com.

Antasari has filed for a case review by the Supreme Court, and says he has new evidence that proves his innocence.

Antasari was convicted for orchestrating the murder of Nasruddin Zulkarnain, the former director of PT Putra Rajawali Banjaran, who was killed on his way home from Taman Modern golf course in early 2009.
