Minister Mustafa recovering, ready to get back to work

State Enterprises Minister Mustafa Abubakar, admitted to a Singapore hospital late last month for a heart problem, is recovering and ready to get back to work soon, a friend says.

“God willing, the State Enterprises Minister will in a short time resume his activities. The minister's health has started to improve, and he may be able to come home next week,” said lawmaker Herman Khaeron after visiting Mustafa at the National University Hospital in Singapore on Friday.

“Thank God he's recovering; he can now joke and laugh out loud,” he added, as quoted by Antara.

Herman said Mustafa could now walk every morning and afternoon around the hospital.

“He eats a lot now, his digestive system is in good condition and he's returning to his normal condition after the [heart] problem. He only needs to recover his physical strength now.”
