South Jakarta Police will summon several students of SMA 6 high school in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, who were allegedly involved in an assault on journalists in front of their school on Monday.
"We already have some names and the identities of those students. We will summon them today for questioning," South Jakarta Police chief detective Adj. Sr. Comr. Budi Irawan said on Tuesday as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
Budi said that the police would maintain the presumption of innocence for those students.
He added that the police would also question some journalists as witnesses in the case.
Students of SMA 6 high school allegedly assaulted several journalists from various media organizations who were staging a protest against an earlier attack last week on a TV journalist implicating students at the school in violence.
