About 2,000 tickets went on sale Friday to the "sold-out" final of the Rugby World Cup.
Organizers said the tickets were among those allocated to corporate groups, tournament sponsors, teams and hospitality organizations and had been returned because they could not be used.
The tickets range in price from NZ$770 ($600) to NZ$1,278 ($1,000) and would be offered first to fans who had entered a ballot to buy seats at the Oct. 23 final.
If any tickets are not purchased, they will be offered for general sale on Monday.
More than 500,000 spectators have so far attended World Cup matches and around 1.28 million tickets have been sold.
