Golkar ready to propose ministerial candidates upon SBY's request

The Golkar Party says it is ready to submit names of candidate ministers to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, who is planning to reshuffle Cabinet next month.

"Golkar has not proposed [candidates] yet, but if we are asked nicely we will submit [a list of] the best candidates," Golkar lawmaker Priyo Budi Santoso said Friday.

He added that the party would not submit the names unless it was requested to do so.

"We are a big party. Sorry, but with all due respect the Cabinet is important, but it is not everything," Priyo said as reported by tribunnews.com.

He also said that this decision was up to the President.
