The National Police's detective agency has named two suspects in a graft case related to a goods procurement at the National Education Ministry, a top official says.
“There are two suspects, but we cannot share the details so as to avoid disruption in the ongoing investigation,” National Police chief detective Comr. Gen. Sutarman said on Wednesday as quoted by Tribunnews.com.
Sutarman said his team needed more time to ascertain how much the state had lost as a result of the alleged corruption.
Numerous witnesses have been summoned by the police in connection with the case, including National Education Minister deputy Fasli Jalal.
