Body murdered expat will be repatriated to India

The body of Singaporean resident Chellapan Karunandhi, who was murdered at Mall of Indonesia (MOI) in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, will be returned to his home country of India on Monday.
“The body will be sent to India through the Singaporean embassy,” North Jakarta Police criminal unit head Adj. Sr. Comm. Irwan Anwar said on Monday as quoted by kompas.com.
He said the repatriation process was still being prepared at Cipto Mangunkusumo hospital in Central Jakarta and the body would soon be flown to India.
Karunandhi, a specialist at a gas and coal-fired power plant (PLTGU) in Bekasi, was found dead with injuries to his neck in his apartment at MOI on Saturday.
