Westlife to play for fans in fourth Jakarta concert tonight
Irish boyband, Westlife, is set to entertain Jakarta fans on Wednesday evening in their fourth concert in the Indonesian capital.
“We are very proud and pleased with the event. It has been our dream to bring Westlife back to Indonesia and organize another concert here,” Peter Harjani, the creative and project director of concert organizer Marygops, said on Wednesday in Jakarta.
The concert is scheduled to run for two hours, starting at 8 p.m., featuring four members of the band: Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan.
They will perform 20 of their hits, including those from their latest album, Gravity.
Peter said tickets for the Gravity World Tour 2011 Jakarta concert, priced between Rp 600,000 and Rp 700,000, had been sold out.
“This means that their fans have been eagerly awaiting their return”, he said.
Westlife previously performed in Jakarta in 2000, 2001 and 2006, tempointeraktif.com reported.
