Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic and a delegation of 14 businessmen are slated to arrive in Indonesia on Sunday, marking the first time a Slovak head of state has visited the nation.
Gasparovic is scheduled to deliver an address with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the opening of a Slovak-Indonesian business forum on Tuesday and to meet with his Indonesian counterparts to discuss trade, investment, renewable energy and agriculture.
“The visit is expected to tighten the relationships between both countries and their peoples,” Teuku Faizasyah, Yudhoyono's foreign affairs spokesman, said in a press statement released on Friday.
