Singaporean referee to lead RI, Qatar match

Tuesday's World Cup pre-qualification match between Indonesia and Qatar at Gelora Bung Karno stadium in South Jakarta will be led by Singaporean referee Malik Abdul Bashir.

Malik will be assisted by two assistant referees, Goh Gek Pheng Jeffrey and Edwin Lee Tzu Liang. Leow Thiam Hoe will serve as the 4th official and Jindamai Rusamee from Thailand will act as the
referee assessor.

The five officials arrived in Jakarta on Sunday, accompanied by AFC match commissioner Kim Yong Joo from South Korea, kompas.com reported.
