PT Ford Motor Indonesia (FMI), a subsidiary of US automotive giant Ford Motors, has announced a significant increase in sales, with 1,471 Ford automobiles sold in September, a 140 percent increase compared to the same period last year, a company official says.
“The demand has been dominated by three variants, the All-New Ford Fiesta, Ford Ranger pickup and Ford Everest SUV,” PT FMI managing director Bagus Susanto says in a press statement received by tempointeraktif.com on Tuesday.
Bagus said these three models had contributed most to the total sales in last month's record, adding that these figures had contributed to 12,332 cars sold from January to September, which was also up 165 percent compared to the same period last year.
