Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has announced plans to summon two lawmakers who were alleged by former Democratic Party treasurer Muhammad Nazaruddin to have been involved in a fixed tender for a construction contract for the upcoming SEA Games.
“We are ready to summon the [legislators] as witnesses,” KPK spokesperson Johan Budi SP said Thursday as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
He added that the commission would summon the two lawmakers — Mirwan Amir of the Democratic Party and I Wayan Koster of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) — next week.
So far, the KPK has named three suspects in the case, namely Wafid Muharram, Muhammad El Idris and Mindo Rosalina Manulang.
