VP: RI ready to host SEA Games XXVI

Vice President Boediono says Indonesia is ready to host the 26th SEA Games on Nov.11.
“Palembang, South Sumatera, is ready,” he said on Saturday, after surveying the Games’ venue locations in Palembang, as quoted by Tempointeraktif.com.
Boediono said that all infrastructure, including roads, electricity, water and accommodation for athletes was ready, although some still needed adjustment.
He also said that almost all of the Games sporting event equipment was in place and ready to be used. The progress of the construction of the facilities was good, and the readiness of the venues was nearly 100 percent.
