Judicial Commission chief Eman Suparman has advised the Supreme Court to suspend the work of all regional corruption courts to prevent further damage after the dozens of acquittals of graft defendants recently.

“Please suspend all regional graft court cases because we

need to immediately evaluate what has happened here,” Eman said on Saturday as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

He said that ongoing trials and other graft cases to be heard should be immediately moved to the Jakarta Corruption Court. He said the Judicial Commission and the Indonesian

Institute of Sciences (LIPI) were currently studying what was going on.
