Greater Jakarta: Thirty-eight hotels ready for SEA Games

JAKARTA: The Indonesia Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (Inasoc) said that 28 hotels in Jakarta and 10 in the capital city of West Java, Bandung, were ready to host 5,505 athletes and officials participating in the 26th SEA Games.
Inasoc Jakarta secretary Ratiyono said that 2,859 rooms will house 3,766 athletes, 1,877 officials, and 1,135 referees during the event, scheduled between Nov. 11 and Nov. 22.
Each of the rooms will be able to accommodate two persons.
Inasoc has selected hotels with three-star rating and above and the standards, including the Crowne Plaza, Arya Duta Semanggi, The Acacia, and Grand Cempaka in Central Jakarta, Atlet Century Park in South Jakarta and Danau Sunter, Aston Marina and Mercure Ancol in North Jakarta.
“We have paid 50 percent of the room rates in advance,” Ratiyono said as quoted by kompas.com.
