Malaysian student found dead in Malang

A Malaysian student was found dead with a cut wound on his neck in the front of the boarding house where he had lived in Malang, East Java, on Monday.

The student, Andrian J. Ferrera, was registered at Brawijaya University medical school.

An initial report has found that prior to his death, Andrian was involved in a fight with someone who had attempted to steal his motorcycle, Lowokwaru Police chief Comr. David Subagyo, who is investigating the case, said Tuesday.

“The attacker stab his neck after several minutes of fighting,” David said on Tuesday as reported by kompas.com.

At the time of writing, police were collecting evidence at the crime scene and planned to question several eyewitnesses.
