Three terrorist suspects arrested

Police counter terrorism detachment 88 officers apprehended three suspected terrorists in two different places in Tangerang. Police also managed to confiscate three firearms and 20 bullets allegedly used in terror activities.

“The fugitives are identified only as DAP, BH and A. They are in our custody to be further questioned about their network,” National Police spokesman Insp. Gen. Saud Usman Nasution said Sunday as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

An officer requesting anonymity said that three were linked to the Cirebon Police mosque bombing that claimed the live of the bomber and injured several others.

One of the fugitives, A, was shot in the leg during the arrest because he was reportedly carrying an M-16 rifle.

Police have arrested dozens of terrorist suspects allegedly linked to the recent terror activities, including a series of book bombs that had been sent to several different addresses.
