Former Salemba penitentiary inmate Syarifuddin Supri Pane says that he has been summoned by the Law and Human Rights Ministry to discuss a recently broadcast video recording depicting special facilities for certain inmates inside the prison.

“I have been told to show where gambling and prostitution took place in Salemba, as shown in the video,” he said Wednesday as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

The 44 year-old added that he was willing to divulge the requested information, saying that he was not afraid of the consequences of his action since it was for a noble cause.

“There is no pressure on me. I am fine,” he said.

Syarifuddin’s video, recorded using a cellular phone in 2008, shows inmates gambling, prostitution, and luxury facilities at the Salemba prison.
